The Higher Education Summit is an annual high-powered event that explores the top issues affecting post-secondary education today. Highlights include featured remarks from world-renowned leaders and educators, and networking opportunities at the most senior level. The 2017 conference will take place on November 26 and 27 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.

Neil Pasricha, the author of the international bestseller, The Book of Awesome, shares recent breakthroughs in the study of happiness and inspires audiences to hit their full potential. A Harvard MBA, award-winning blogger, and one of the most popular TED speakers in the world, Pasricha is “a pied piper of happiness” (Toronto Star) who dazzles audiences with ideas and frameworks that launch happiness into the stratosphere.

Daniel H. Pink is one of the world’s leading business thinkers and the author of five bestselling books about work, management, and behavioural science. His books have sold more than two million copies and have been translated into 35 languages. He was also host and co-executive producer of the National Geographic Channel social science TV series, Crowd Control, which aired internationally in 2014 and 2015.

Former NASA chief scientist Ellen Stofan successfully smashed the barriers for women in science. By championing opportunities in STEM, she reminds us the possibilities in science are limitless and can greatly benefit the planet now and for future generations.

A leader in post-secondary program reform, student success expert David A. Laude has levelled the playing field for students at the University of Texas at Austin with progressive programs to improve graduation rates among disadvantaged students.

Wired magazine’s highly acclaimed editor-in-chief, Nicholas Thompson, examines the rise of artificial intelligence and robotics. He’ll look at how the world’s dominant tech players will affect policy and exert power over governments and citizens.
